Reviews and Ratings
I had high hopes for this hotel after seeing the promises of a $6 million renovation, but my experience was quite disappointing. While the indoor pool and location were decent and the staff was responsive when issues arose, the rooms fell short of expectations for the price. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you find a great deal, as the value simply wasn't there for a $600 per night rate.
My stay at the hotel had a mix of enjoyable elements and concerning issues. The cleanliness and cozy ambiance were pleasant, but I was frustrated by the lack of communication regarding amenities and unexpected fees. The food service didn't meet my expectations, and it left me questioning the value for money.
My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing, mainly due to the issues with the room and the lack of adequate response from management. While the hotel has some character and I appreciated the spa services, the overall experience was clouded by significant maintenance problems and disappointing customer service, which is a letdown for a place claiming to be of higher quality. I don't think I will choose this hotel again in the future.
My experience at Hotel Viking was quite mixed. While I appreciated the cozy ambiance and unique charm of the building, I encountered several issues that detracted from my stay. The rooms needed renovation and were far too distant from the lobby, making navigation cumbersome with luggage. On a positive note, there were some wonderful staff members who tried to be accommodating. However, the lack of attention to detail and some rude interactions really stood out. Overall, the hotel has potential but currently feels outdated and in need of a refresh.
The Hotel Viking offers a wonderful experience with its elegant charm and comfortable accommodations. I loved the spacious rooms and the relaxing indoor pool, which was perfect for our family. The dining options were delightful, especially the Sunday brunch. However, be prepared for valet and resort fees that can add up. Overall, it’s a great value, especially for a family getaway.
